Draft Howard for DNC Chair & CNN Poll

We need a Democratic Party of the people, by the people, for the people.

We need a leader who speaks plainly and passionately.

We need a leader who we can trust to stand up for mainstream Democratic values and never let anyone define or malign us.

Most of all, we need a leader who understands the challenges we face as a country and as a party.

Governor Howard Dean is that leader.

We need to keep the buzz going!

Also Vote in the CNN poll that is on the front page now:

Should Howard Dean be the next DNC Chair?

DNC chair means he can't run for President in '08 (none / 0)

Do we really want to give up Dean as a candidate yet ?  Giving the nomination to Hillary is what he would be doing.  And I'm not sure that she would win against the right wing machine.

Put Howard in as chair. I don't think that we would choose Hillary in the primaries.

Are you kidding?  Hillary is so popular among Dems but would get creamed in a general election.  The Reps wouldn't need any wedge issues to mobilize their base if Hillary was our candidate.

fresh start (none / 0)

I like Dean, I supported him and thought the DLC smears against him were awful. But they worked, Dean is boxed in.

Luckily, Dean inspired a new generation of leaders. I would love to see somebody who not only has Dean's passion, but lacks his baggage and thanks to Dean there are plenty of candidates.

Dean should stay at DFA and keep the Party honest.
